Pyramid of Success:

Block 1: Industriousness

"In plain and simple English this means hard work. Very hard work. There is no substitute for very hard work. There is no substitute for very hard work when it comes to success." 

Reflection: 

Industriousness means to be a hard worker. This block from the pyramid is important because hard work doesnt come naturally you have to work hard for you can become successful. Also, because you would not have trouble being independent because you dont need no one to remind you what to do. A hard worker shows a lot about your character. For instance, it shows how competitive you are, committed into always finishing, and you do not let anything get in your way in completing your goals. Many people say that hard work pays off and my understanding from that is that i agree because if you know you really worked hard for something you want to achieve it turns out to be great. This is why i will be working harder every time i want to achieve something.

Block 2: Enthusiasm

"It is engine that powers all blocks of the Pyramid. It is why I choose Industriousness and Enthusiasm as the cornerstones of my Pyramid of success. It is where everything begins."

Reflections: Enthusiasm means that when your pumped up into doing something or excited because your going to do something. For example, your trying out for dance competition and some of the people are nervous or shy but your on it you could be nervous but your so enthusiastic does not get in the way. Also, it important to have this characteristic because you can inspire others to have enthusiasm. It it build a very good bond with others because maybe there not having a good day and you can change there mood.Lastly say you friend is playing and there is a game and she nervous and that does not let her focus, so you need to help her out by motivating her.

Reflection: This quote means that enthusiasm is an important part of you

Block:3 Friendship

Reflection: Friendship is important because friendship can become something more then a friend.The truth is life is better with friends. Friends can you bring you up to become a better person. Also, you will have the best memories with them.Such as meeting new people, getting to know each other, and trust. Friendship is an important role for a human character it can lead to having feelings with another person because you know how they are. If you need a hand your friends will come by and they would help you.

Reflection: I picked this quote because it means that when you meet someone you will never want to break the bond you both created.

Block: 4 Loyalty 

Reflection: Loyalty is important because it's similar to trust. Another word similar to loyalty is faithful. Being loyal to your friend, relationships is important because you wouldn't want to hurt the person feelings. You can not betray friends either nor talk about them behind there back in any negative way. You have to make sure that they trust you and when you say "I promise" you'll keep that promise. Being loyal means that you have to be determine on what you say to the other person because if you fail they might never believe you, and maybe they wouldn't want to be with you anymore. Also, you have to be committed to your friends because what if one day they really need you and your not there how you promise.Another example is that when your friend is being bully and everyone is doing it just because and you join instead of helping her out that is not loyalty because you stand next to her because you care.

Reflection: This quote is saying that loyalty you may not find any where but if you find it you should keep it.

Block: 5 Cooperation

"With all levels of your co-workers.Listen if you want to be heard. Be interested on finding best ways, not having your own way."

Block:6 Ambition 

For noble goals.

Reflection: This block is telling the audience that in order to be ambitious you have to be positive and strong about your goals. This is important role of a humans character because what if one of your friends are not ambitious and they need a hand in order for someone to give them that push. Being ambitious is important because no matter what happens you will always try your hardest in order to succeed in life. Ambitious has a purpose in every one its what ever it is of your goals that you want to achieve by yourself or with a loyal friend. Say you want to achieve on your skills on playing basketball that would be called ambitious because if you really wanted to improve you will desire this goal and achieve it. I will make sure that i will be ambitious with my goals because i would not like if if i gave up.

Reflection: I choose this quote because you should always stay positive even though everything is going bad because you should encourage yourself.

Block 7: Self-control

" Practice self-discipline and keep emotions under control. Good judgement and common sense are essential."

Reflection: This block means to control yourself into wanting to do something, but you should not because it's not a good thing to do. For instance, when a teacher hands out a test but they tell you not to turn it around and you are anxious to turn it you need to have self control. Also, when your the only one who finished the exam and your bored and your trying to do something that makes noise however you know you would get in trouble because your gonna distract your classmates. Another example is when your angry and your trying to wreck or punch the wall you should have self control because you will hurt yourself.I think it will be best to breathe in and out 3 times or grab a pillow and cover your mouth and scream to get it out of your system. That's why its important to have self control because it shows that you can control your emotions.

Reflection: I choose this quote because it's true because if you do not know how to control your temper then people would not want you to do anything.

Block 8: Alertness 

"Be observing constantly. Stay open-minded. Be eager to learn and improve." 

Reflection: Alertness means that you need to stay aware on what you need to get done. Such as an assignment being do and your responsible to turn in your assignment on time. Also, when your determine on doing your work and following instruction to succeed faster on your goals. For instance, say your boss tells you and the other employees to do a project of trying to change something for solutions, the boss assignment is due next week. Its a competition for promotion you have to be alert on how long it going to take you and aware on the stuff you need. Alert is also being on it on your goals because ones you lag on your goals its going to be easier to be careless.

Reflection: I choose this quote because alertness leads to new things everyday in life.

Block: 9 Initiative 

"Cultivate the ability to make decisions and think alone. Do not be afraid of failure, but learn from it." 

 Reflection: Initiative is being independent and if you make a mistake its okay because you will learn from it. Many people are independent it can be a single mom, or dad, and living on your own. Being initiative can lead to being happy or sometimes life can hit you hard. For instance, say that you are living alone and you pay all the bills, but everything is to much for you. However, it shows that you are responsible and you are showing those who think cant do it alone that you can. It also shows that you are brave and not afraid of the world. Because being showing fear is not an option you need to show that you can do it with or without anyone. Initiative is also similar to taking risk because your not afraid to fail at all. When you do fail its okay if you learn from your mistakes and if you change them. Initiative is important because you can be initiative and not be embarrassed to fail.

Reflection: I picked this quote because if you do stuff without being told means that you are responsible.

Block:10 Intentness

"Set a realistic goal. Concentrate on its achievement by resisting all temptations. Be determine and persistent. "

Reflection: If you do not know what intentness means, it means that your persistent and your focus on whatever it is your achieving.For instance, everyone has a goal to achieve and its sky diving you need to be intentness by focusing on saving money or the transportation. Also, if you need to pass a test you need to concentrate on whats you been learning in class or what would help you study for you can pass a test. Another example is when your in a sport and you coach tells you that you at least need to reach at 32 points if you don't after you will be conditioning twice as usual. This helps you know that you need to practice on what you need help on. Being intentness helps you be determine on your goals because its important to achieve your goals with all your hard work.

Block: 11 Sincerity

"Keep friends''

Reflections: Sincerity is being generous with others who you do know or not know. Being sincerity is important because that's when you will meet new people. For instance your new at campus do not know where is your first class, and you meet some one to show you around that's being sincerity.Also, when you ask your friends if you can barrow money and they give you more than that because they were nice enough to help you and they were not selfish with there money. In life many people are sincerity and thats great because they spread the choosing the right to help one another.

Reflection: This quote means that you dont need to hide being sincere.

Block: 12 Adaptability 

To any situation

Reflection: Adaptability is important because is like saying your use to on focusing on completing your daily schedule . Also, by you have to get use to on your new job or when you move in, in a new community. For instance, I got a job and it's my first job i was excited ,but not how i was before in the first day. What they have me doing is going to houses to hand out flyers for citizens to vote for there city council, and clerks. Furthermore, i have to get use to walking for 5 hours straight and looking for the addresses they assigned me and it hard because sometimes i get lost because i dont know the streets, but it does help me get experience on knowing the  streets.

 Reflection: This quote means that adapting is a key to succeed. 

Block:13 Condition

"Mental -Moral -Physical. Rest ,exercise and diet must be considered. Moderation must be practiced. Dissipation must be eliminated." 

Reflection: Condition is affecting the way in which people live or work with safety or well- being. 

This means that whatever it is your working on your being determine on your achievement and you know what your doing. Also, it can mean that your conditioning on sports to prepare your to be fit and healthy. Its important to condition yourself on life because you will better yourself in stuff that you will be moving forward. Because life moves on with or without and you have to make sure that every time it counts because your conditioning yourself to become a better person. Furthermore, thats what people need to be condition of not slacking off , to always be organized on there plans for there week because ones you slack off it be easier to being lazy. Thats why its best for you to be determine and not complaining on the life style they choice.

Reflection: This means that many people get stuck and don't know how to get out of there problem that's why they need more role models to teach them how to me condition and determine. 

Block: 14 Skill
"A knowlegede of and the ability to properly and quickly execute the fundamentals. Be prepared and cover every little detail."
Reflection: This block is that you need to have skill in order to be condition on things you need to succeed. Skills is important because without skills you wont be good at what your doing. For instance, people who work at a fast food there were condition to be doing the hamburgers and that practicing turns into a skill because they already know what to do and they work fast. Also, when you have a skill on doing something that you are really good at then it should be easy for you to get something out of i t.

Reflection: This quote can encourage many people to study something and really understand it because if you didnt understand then you didnt learn.


Block:15 Team Spirit 
"A genuine consideration for others. An eagerness to sacrifice personal interests of glory for the welfare of all."

Reflection: Team Spirit is important because your team need to motivate you into bettering yourself. Because you guys are a team that all created and bond its like your second family. Without team spirit you will be struggling on stuff you need to get help on. Team Spirit is something that everyone should have because it will help them feel better on doing stuff and you feel that your team will never fail. It can your family cheering for you on one of your last games to show support. Also, when your in a fun game such as playing checkers, bingo, dodge ball, basketball ect, your family and friends and team mates will support you.

Reflection: This quote is saying that whatever it is you and your team mates are going through you will get out together.

Block:16 Honesty
 "In thought in action"

Reflection; This Block is important because honesty is a way of showing that you are committed in a team, relationship, work,and friends. For instance, at work say your working foe a magazine and you being selfish about it you betray your own company by giving ideas to another brand magazine. That shows that you are not being honest to yourself nor work. In a relationship you need to be honest to each other because then you wont have  any trust and your relationship would end up dying just like a flower without sunlight and water. Also, you have to be honest to your family because what if your being bullied and you dont have friends to tell you have to be strong  and  honest to your family because there the ones who are going to be there for you. You need to be honest to your friends because you wouldnt want them to find out something you said behind there backs. Thats why its important to to be honest to yourself and others.

Reflection: This quote means that when you lie you hurt yourself because your becoming someone your not and it's easier for you to lie.

Block: 17 Resourcefulness



Block:18 Poise 
" Just be yourself. Being at ease in any situation." Graceful and elegant baring in a person.

Reflection: Poise means an graceful person that appreciates anything they have. Also, an action you do that is simple and a really good idea that works out the way you want it. For instance having a good appearance on stuff or how you dress. Having good well manners by not judging books by there cover. Meaning that you will not change your way to






Block:19 Confidence 
"Respect without fear. May come from being prepared and keeping all things in proper perspective." 
Reflection:Confidence is a important role for a human character. Its important because when you have confidence is like your own world turned into a big pile of cloud 9. Because you feel very accountable towards the stuff you will succeed in. Also, in stuff that you want to accomplish for example, having the bravery to talk to your boss into giving you a promotion because you dedicated so much into your position and not only you helped your boss set new ideas for things to turn out great. Without confidence you be tuck in a world that is not expected of everything is giving by hand. What i mean by that is that many people have the idea that everything is easy and everything is expected to be given in hand or there use to things led o to an easy way out. Confidence is also important because it builds you courage and makes you think positive. Such as, I can do it. I believe in myself, i can't back down, keep on going, never give up ect. All of this positive quotes inspire people and will get them to succeed. This is why i think confidence is important.

Block: 20 Reliability 
Creates respect

Reflection: This block is telling the reader to be reliable on things you say for instance you telling your friend that you'll be volunteering and you never showed up. Being reliable is important because you will earn respect and trust and also you will become a better person. You will succeed in life because everybody will want you to do the work becaause they know that you will do it and try your best. Also, say that you and your classmates are doing a project and its time to go home and they tell you to hold on to the project because they trust that you will be here and you will keep it safe. Also, they will respect you because they know you are a hard working person who keeps on achieving.

Reflection: This means that if you cant rely on a person you shouldn't even tell them to do you a favor.

Block: 21 Fight 
Determine effort
Reflection: This doesn't mean the one you get into problems and try to cause kayos with other people you don't,but the one who fights for what they believe in. When you fight yourself you may be fighting for others too , but they are too afraid to stand up for themselves. How the African american's stood up for themselves when the white were treating them like animals. For instance, when you fight for something that you believe in and encourage others you will get what you want and so will they. Fighting for something such as getting a promotion or fighting for your equal rights. Many people all over the world fight for what they want and it's hard because there is a lot of hard things for the process in order to achieve of getting what you want you need to be determine and confident that you will achieve whatever it is.

Reflection: This quote is telling me that there is going to be days where you would want to give up, but really the thing that should keep you moving is you imagining yourself fighting for what you want.

Block:22 Competitive Greatness 
" Be at your best when your best is needed. Enjoyment of a difficult challenge."

Reflection: When you are competitive is a good thing because it shows that you will try your hardest on never giving up. Also, say your in any kind of sport championship and there you determine whether you are competitive or not. Being competitive shows a great characteristics of yourself it shows that you are prepared of anything coming your way and you can handle anything. For instance say that your playing basketball and your team is losing form 4 points away and you had set your mind before that at least score 20 points before the end of the game. That is being competitive because your stepping your game of proving yourself that you can achieve with the help of yourself and others. It's also a great feeling that you know your being competitive and playing smart having fun without rubbing it on others people faces. IT will also get you more friends and jobs because who wouldnt want to higher a person who keeps on trying and developing.

Block:23 Integrity 
" Purity of intention."
Reflection: Integrity means the quality pf being honest,and having strong morals principals moral uprightness. In order to be integrity is that you need to be determine on you stuff and truthful to yourself that you believe in yourself. Integrity shows that you are attentive on the stuff you want to achieve. For instance, you can build integrity by developing relationships that will help you because you gave a good character of being honest. If your not honest with yourself then your probably not honest with others. Its important that your honest with yourself because it will help you understand more about you and you will have many more friends because they know that they can count on you. Furthermore, its important  because if your in a relationship and your not honest with them it can lead to bad things so is better if your honest so you would not harm one another. Also, it can help others by you showing the right.

Block: 24 Faith 
Believe and Achieve

Having faith is believing in yourself that you can achieve your goals. It can be having faith in others such as a mother to a son having faith that they can be reunited together. It can also be an example of the future for instance a couple who has faith in each other promising they will make it in life together by pursuing there dreams. Another example is trusting yourself to do something such as rock climbing and believing that you will get to the top of the mountain. On the other hand, it also can be religion wise how Moises had faith and his people who did not give on god because they knew that he will come and save them from being slaves to those in Egypt. Adding on, still today people are religious and have faith on Jesus and God because many of us pray to the lord for forgiveness, or a thank you to the lord for everyday giving them life and foods or even blessings all because we have faith. Above it all, faith is important to me because thats when you know you can trust yourself into achieving your goals.

Block: 25 Patience
good things take time 

Reflection: Having patience is the most important thing that everyone should have because you can control yourself on waiting. Many people are not patient on stuff they want to achieve that is one of the reasons why they fail. You can be patience towards love, job, goals,education, friends, family etc.,if you have patience with one of this things you will be more than happy that you waited. For instance, say that your waiting on a call for the job you got interviewed, but you start having no patience and you start making a scene. Also, when you get pulled out of class to talk to your counselor and there are other students waiting too ,so you just leave out of the room. adding on, if you been an relationships before and none of them seemed to work out they way you both wanted and you start thinking that your not good enough or you are getting tired of waiting for that someone to sweep you off your feet. In my opinion i think if you have patience you will succeed and already have others goals that you want to accomplish.

Reflection: What the quote is trying to tell the reader is that yes having patience can be hard and stressful. However, when you wait and keep on waiting to achieve one day it will come and you will be very happy that you had patience not giving up and laziness.

Pyramid of Success Final Reflection

Reflection: Each word means something positive that implies examples in life. It can be beneficial to everyone because it will help you in life and will make a difference. For instance, Skill is very because it means you master something and your good at. Such as having the skill on talking in front of an audience. The one that implies to me is loyalty because once i promise something i know that i would not break it. Also, because i do not betray others for others. I think that everyone should consider in learning about the words because everyone deserves to  succeed in life. I would incorporate this to people because I care for each and every one of them and i would advice them to do there best because i wouldnt it want them to fail . Above all the blocks teach you to become a better person with yourself and others which is why its important to to imply them into your life. 

School Break Days

       Create a new post in your E-ports. Write at least 12 sentences describing your Christmas/winter break

Since the last day before winter break I was excited that I was going to sleep in late and watch movies until I fell asleep. The places I went was Six flags and to Korean food place. Also, I went to a ranch and saw horse and camels and reunited with friends that I haven’t seen in a long time and I also met new people. That day was really great but did have some trouble throughout because my family and I tried to stay in  hotel but couldn’t however my mom decided that we should go to the mall, so we did and I got new clothes. Sucks that on Christmas eve i had to work but it was okay because I ate left overs. I got paid and my dad gave me money for Christmas and that was a highlight of my day. There were days were I stayed and watch movies such as Bee Movie, I know what you did last summer, Pitch perfect 2, Zootopia, Twilight, and many more but I cant remember. 

Class Evaluation

1.     The things i like about this class is that we have free time. Also, how Mr.Haymore teaches us how to become a better person and try to learn something new about ourselves. This class helps brings me good vibes because it's a very easy class and I always wanted to have experience based on coding. Lastly, it also taught me how to relax my mind into choosing the right and how i can be a better person to myself and others.
2. I dont dislike anything about this class.
3. We should have group activity because many students in our class don't know each other, so maybe this can help us to get to know one another.
4.     The highlight of this class is knowing that i have experience on coding and knowing that i have an A.
5. I think i can do better even though i still have a A, but it's also good to be an over achiever. 
6.       Reading my life planning goals really motivates me because I want to be known as that girl who tried her best on completing her goals and a girl who is always in a good mood and knows how to manage her time wisely.Yes i try to  read my life planning goals and sharpen the saw everyday. When i do i feel like i more open minded about stuff and check my way of being.

Reflection: I think that it's important to know what your goals are, and to have a plan of how are you going to achieve your goals. Also, its important to visualize yourself  achieving your goals because it tells you that you can do it or it motivates you to become a better person. It will help others to think of you as a role model because you motivated millions of people.This first key will help many young adults to start valuing there free time on thinking about how you want succeed in life with the help family and friends. Personally created my 100 goals is a good thing that will help be achieve my goals and its an useful tool to remember all the goals that i will achieve.

Reflection: This key is telling me that without having confidence you wont be able to do things right. Also, that the harder you work the more greater things in life will happen. This also means that if your willing to  put an effort  you will; succeed in life. No matter how competitive life gets it's always best if you try then not to because at the end of the day you will not be in an happy mood. Therefore, there always going to be that one time were you will do great in something and you will feel proud. That's why its important for you to choose the right and get things done. Its best if you don't procrastinate.

Key 3: Concentration

Reflection: This key is saying that it's important to be focus on the stuff you want to get done.For instance, your teacher informed you that there will be a home test and already students 

are excited because they can be home with there friends and they can cause a distraction. The  sad thing is that it's timed so you need to be focus and try not to fool around as much. Another example is that you have to be paying attention and be taking notes because your friend told you if you can help because she will no be there for the lesson. This is important because it helps you become very good at staying focus and finishing whatever you want to accomplish. Also, it helps improve your skills on getting things done on time not procrastinating. This will help more because instead letting time pass i should be taking advantage on my own time that i have to get things done, so i would not have to do later on in the future.

Reflection:  This key means that you need to think things through even if your having a bad day or a good day. It's important to have common sense in stuff because you never know how its easy things will be if you actually understand the process. That's why there is 4 important process that will help you get through your life. Training your mind is important because your slowly making notice to your brain that to take things into consideration. The part of thinking things through is important because you are thinking about whats is best for you or even when your friends are inviting you to choose the wrong you need to think and make sure your choosing the right. Listen to your intuition this means that you need to be open minded and listen to who ever is trying to help you. Learn from seatbacks means that you learn from your mistakes and make sure you build a up yourself to become a better person.

Reflection: This means that everyone has a special ability to do things. It is a good thing that everyone is creative and i did not know that the people who ask more questions are the more creative. Thats why i stopped to think that it is true because referring back i remember ones my friend was asking so many questions and i kept on looking at her and i thought that she probably got off her comfort zone. I personally like when people show there creativity because many of us don't have good ideas and maybe that helps us get new ideas. For instance, with kids children have a very great creativity because they have so many things going on with there heads that sometimes it becomes a talent of theres. For me i think creativity is important because you can express yourself in so many different ways. Also, how it can describe what kind of person are you and what can you do with small things that you can create.

Reflection: This means that you can create new things without having plans and make its okay to make mistakes. Also, that art is way that you can express yourself and your creativity.

Reflection:

I think that consideration means that when you take an opportunity in mind or when someone is telling you that ill recommend you should take this because it can be beneficial. For instance, say your going to the doctor and the doctor states that it'd be best if you start exercising so it can prevent pain in your body. Also, when your friend is trying to help you and give you advice because you been stressing to much and she tells that you should join a yoga class with her and i think that would help her get away from her stress. Take consideration on things that you know that it's going to be beneficial and not harmful for your present. When i consider something to someone i know that it will change someone else is mind but in a good way and it will help them at the end of the day. Consideration is important because i personally think it gives people hope on succeeding in there life. I think its a good thing that when people have an opportunity when a person tells the other consider it as a job they should take it because now in days is hard to get a job.

I think this means that consideration is when you try to help people in their needs.

key 7: Consistency 

"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior fast spurts of work."

"Be consistent in your relationship, your family, friends, your boss, your work. Be the person that can people can upon. that if you say you'll do something you do it." 

Reflection: The word consistency means to me that you are responsible with your time and you know how to manage it wisely.Also, its important because you have to make sure your on time and organized with the things you have to get done. For instance, my teacher was telling us that he has 3 other jobs because he needs to pay bills and he still manage to have time to be with friends and be on vacations, and its a great feeling and easy when you are consistent with your  time. Another example is is never being tardy with your bills because there the most important. Consistency brings happiness to many people like friends,family,boss,co-workers etc. because it shows that you are very responsible and you give them a hand when there most needed it shows a positive character of yours. I will continue using Consistency to be a steady responsible person.

Reflection; This quote means that when people don't take in consideration seriously others would not take you serious because it shows what can of person are you.

Reflection: Courage means that you need to confidence on what you believe in and you need to take a risk on failure because then you will learn from your mistakes. Having courage is important because it is a good thing if some one has courage and you will have many opportunity. For instance, when your in an auditions and the instructor asks for volunteers and your the only one who takes because you want to win and be successful. No matter how life gets its best if you have confidence and courage to take risk of opportunities you will have in the future. Courage will help your will of being in a good way because shows that your not afraid to fail, but to learn from your failure. Another example is when you need courage to do something you always love doing, but no one knows about your talent it takes courage to come out of the closet. Every one will face a risk that they will have to take and have to have courage to succeed and move on with your life.

Reflection: This means that you have commitment to things you want to accomplish in life. Courage means to me that you your not afraid to take risk at any time. Everyone needs courage to show the world that they are special.

Reflection:Having confidence brings out the real in you because it show what kind of person you are. Many people dont have confidence there shy to get out there personality. Confidence is important because you will gain a lot of success in life because of confidence. Everyone at one point has confidence whether it can be on the test, presentation, job interview,asking a girl out , pretty much anything that you fear and you want to take a risk for it and if it turns out bad then it be okay because life is not perfect. When you tell yourself to be confident its a good thing because your the one who will always bring yourself up.

Write a final all-encompassing reflection about 10 keys to personal Power.

This 10 personal key power will be beneficial to me because it will help me become a better person that will help me succeed in life. The one that its most important to me is the one with having confidence at all time. Which i need to start working on more because i never really didnt have confidence about myself. I was always that one girl who would be shy to talk or ask a question in class when i didnt understand the method. All of these keys will help me grow and become a very good person that will help me teach others about how great it feels to have this keys in your life. I will continue using them in my life because i think it will push me to competitive in life because if you really want something you will be committed. Because all the words have a positive meaning about bringing yourself up. 

Character and Personality

Reflection: What I learned is that it's important have principals that will create characteristics that describes a person. With this principals it will help the society in a positive way. Based on the seventh Habits  Steven explained to the audience that having a good character and personality will help you grow and it will beneficial to others  if your giving them a good example.
